A Legacy Three Generations in the Making

A Legacy Three Generations in the Making

At the helm of Dama Rose is our founder, Malaz Hayek. A graduate of the prestigious Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Malaz brings a wealth of experience to our kitchen. Having managed his late brother Rabia's restaurant in Boston's North End for over a decade, he carries with him the legacy of authentic recipes passed down through three generations. His journey began in Syria, where his father, Zuhier, opened Al Hayek Restaurant in the bustling streets of downtown Damascus in 1988. This restaurant created a lasting legacy that continues to delight diners to this day, and at Dama Rose, we proudly carry on this cherished tradition.
